Production Seminar A (Design)
Through the implementation of design methods (field research, problem setting, prototyping, inspection), this seminar aims to promote an understanding of behavior modification due to design. From this, the objective is to multilaterally understand the impact that design has on both individuals and society and gain new knowledge. The subject matter will be set to the environment around the university which we study on a daily basis. The things that occur there, experiences and reactions, the cognition of individuals and technological approaches will be combined, problem setting will take place, and then attempts will be made to put it into practice. In what way does design function, and what sort of behavioral modification and understanding does it lead to. We will examine these questions with an experiential and pragmatic approach. The emphasis is on questioning the design subject, making new discoveries and acquiring knowledge through prototyping and inspection.
